Request current photographs and any available sampling, analysis or inspection reports for the specific lot. A generic image or historic report does not establish the quality of a new shipment.
Discuss whether an independent inspection, including an SGS inspection where available, can be arranged. The provider, scope, location, timing and cost must be agreed for the specific order. Inspection is not automatically included.
Agree the documentation required for the material classification, origin, transit route and destination. Depending on the shipment, this may include commercial, transport, weighing and waste shipment documentation. Requirements are checked before dispatch.
EU waste shipment rules, including Regulation (EU) 2024/1157 and applicable transitional provisions, depend on the material classification and route. Documentation and any consent requirements must be confirmed before shipment. Read the EU regulation. We do not present a single document as a guarantee that every shipment is permitted.
